You may have seen or noticed a few posts about it on our Facebook page so we thought it was high time we give you a proper run down on the finer details!
Whilst at this stage, the courses are currently held in Melbourne only, other states can look forward to some Aspire action in the not too distant future (namely early 2014), so if you are reading this from afar in our northern or western counterparts, keep reading!Courses on offer:
Rockabilly Baby (6 - 18 months) Rockabilly baby offers a fun and creative pathway to facilitate and expose your child to the arts in a gentle and supportive manner taught by professionals in a safe and controlled environment for both parent and child!
Fun Club (3-4 years)Fun club focuses on developing social skills, motor skills and confidence through exciting and engaging activities such as dress-ups, songs, dance and play in a welcoming environment.
Dance (5-7 years)The dance course explores 8 varied styles of dance including Latin, Jazz, Tap, Folk, Contemporary, Bollywood, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop with an emphasis on not only precision, technique, body awareness and style but also fitness and creativity.
Acting & Drama (5-16 years)Acting classes develop confidence and acting skills through activities such as character development, chat to camera, monologues, voice and movement and the use of costume and props.
Modelling & Confidence (8-16 years)Modelling courses focus on posing, catwalk, fitness, grooming and working with fashion photographers. Healthy body image and self confidence is promoted by developing a unique sense of style and happiness within one self.
Singing (8-12 years)Singing classes focus on vocal technique and performance skills through musical expression. Students explore styles of music such as pop, R&B, soul, blues and musical theatre..
Young Filmmakers (13-16 years)Film students will learn all of the film making processes from collaborating on a story to the production process including lighting, sound, editing, directing and being part of a film crew.
School Holiday ProgramsWith school holidays comes a spectacular school holiday program including the following courses: Young Filmmakers, Health & Fitness Program, Intensive Modelling Program, Television Presenting, Singing & Acting & Drama.What makes these courses so special?
A prominent difference from other courses to Aspire Entertainment is the Creative Director - Lilly Dawson. Lilly is the Creator and Director of highly acclaimed international company Hollywood Immersive which provides intensive training programs for upcoming Australian talent in L.A in the areas of Acting, Music and Presenting. Lilly has a vast amount of contacts in the states and has worked alongside the likes of Eva Mendes and Naomi Watts.
Lilly is also a Casting Director here in Melbourne which is an exceptionally handy connection to have, if you know what I mean! Lilly has cast some of our children into roles for TV commercials such as Strike Bowling and SpotJobs. Students of Aspire Entertainment not only have the invaluable opportunity to strive locally but also abroad.
